Responsibilities and key activities: As a Mechanical Testing Engineer at reliability laboratory, KONE R&D, you will be responsible for designing and executing various mechanical tests, analysing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address and resolve any issues based on testing result. You will also need to drive continuous improvement in mechanical testing methodologies by implementing innovative processes and techniques in mechanical testing. 1. Collaborate with R&D to establish reliability requirements and verification solutions. 2. Create test plans, carry out tests according to the plan, analyse test data, document results in formal reports; identify issues and propose solutions based on testing outcomes. 3. Ensure safety in all work-related activities. 4. Manage and develop testing tools and equipment, e.g. calibration, maintenance, repair, and upgrades. 5. Maintain facilities and ensure compliance with 5S and safety requirements in laboratory areas. 6. Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 7. Commit to continuous learning and growth, staying up-to-date with advancements in mechanical testing techniques and technologies.
Requirements: Education Background: Bachelor or above, mechanical engineering or equivalent major Experience: 1-2 years working experience in test/ design/ manufacturing /engineering support Skills, Proficiency: 61 Solid knowledge in mechanical engineering, good understanding in machines and mechanisms; 61 Be interested in hands-on work, have ability in using needed tools and instruments; 61 Strong self-driven attitude with a strong sense of commitment to delivering work; be eager to learn & develop; 61 Collaboration mindset, good communication skill is preferable 61 Basic written and reading English skill needed, oral English ability is a plus.
