Summary The supply chain specialist is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end operations, ensuring efficient procurement,logistic and warehousing. This role is to analysis supply chain data, coordinating demand with suppliers, managing warehouse and improve processes to reduce cost and enhance efficiency, as well as provide the best fit logistic solutions to business.
Primary responsibilities
1.Procurement & supplier management -Identify, evaluate and on board suppliers including forwarder, agent, transport, express, packaging, shipper, etc -Negotiate contracts, pricing and frame contract. -Monitor supplier performance and address issues timely. -Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
2.Warehouse management -Lead warehouse keeper and subcontractor to fulfil GR, GI, stocking, counting -Create the warehouse strategy to reduce cost. -Work with CAR for stock audits and reconcile discrepancies -Analysis of warehouse KPIs and propose concept to improve
3.Import and export -Coordinate import/export activities including booking, shipping, customs clearance -Optimize transportation routes and reduce freight cost,by providing the proper solutions based on project budget and lead times. -Be consulted by CE/Project team for supply chain related issues.
4.Compliance Ensure compliance with regulations (trade,safety,ESG, SCA etc)
