Job Description: 1. The hardware Engineer works on a restricted number of projects simultaneously, and his/her main task is to provide Electrical and controls hardware engineering for the Vanderlande Industries' installed system in China and aboard. 2. His/her main knowledge is about the electrical and controls system of Material Handling System. 3. He/she will be assigned to projects in the site construction phase as site EM supervisor.
Major Responsibilities: 1. Make the electrical and controls hardware design according to company standard technical solution and process; 2. Make the controls engineering layouts; 3. Make the controls diagram drawings by E-plan; 4. Select appropriate hardware type; 5. Make the hardware specifications; 6. Make the purchase RFQs and review quotation from suppliers; 7. Participate Hardware FAT and make the quality control if necessary; 8. Perform EM supervisor for site construction phase if necessary; 9. Give customer maintenance training for hardware system; 10. Provide service support for hardware system phase if necessary; 11. Provide technical sales support if necessary. 12. EM supplier management in projects.
Requirements: 1. Electrical or Automation Engineering degree or equivalent; 2. Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC systems, Profibus, Profinet, Asi-Bus, motor control, Frequency Controller, field sensor/motor, power distribution system, electrical components like breaker, contactor, relay, etc; 3. Familiar with AutoCAD software; 4. Familiar with E-Plan software; 5. Familiar with control system of BHS in airport; 6. Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in similar sector; 7. Hands-on, stress resistant, patient, flexible and self supportive; 8. Good Communication skill; 9. Willing to travel for overseas training purpose and site installation/commissioning; 10. Good command of both oral and written English.
