The Engineering Supervisor at Centrotherm Kunshan will act as a critical technical and operational bridge between the Kunshan plant and our German headquarters (HQ). This role focuses on supplier qualification, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth localization of equipment and adherence to global standards. The incumbent will work closely with production, quality, and procurement teams to resolve technical challenges, reduce costs, and support assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Development & Localization
61 Identify, audit, and qualify Chinese suppliers for mechanical/electrical components.
61 Conduct technical assessments and cost-benefit analyses to justify supplier selection to the German HQ.
61 Collaborate with procurement and quality teams to ensure compliance with global standards (e.g., ISO, SEMI).
2. Cost Reduction & Process Optimization
61 Drive Year-over-Year (YoY) cost-saving initiatives by optimizing supplier materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly workflows.
61 Support localization efforts by adapting German designs to Kunshan’s production capabilities.
3. Technical Troubleshooting
61 Resolve assembly, testing, and equipment integration challenges in collaboration with production and quality teams.
61 Provide root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
4. HQ Coordination & Compliance
61 Act as the primary technical liaison between Kunshan and the German HQ, ensuring alignment on project goals and compliance with global standards.
61 Prepare technical reports, supplier evaluations, and project updates for German stakeholders in English.
5. Production Support
61 Oversee assembly, testing, and debugging processes to meet quality and timeline expectations.

61 监督装配、测试及调试流程，确保符合质量与时间要求。
Requirements:
61 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
61 Experience:
o 5+ years in equipment manufacturing/automation, preferably in photovoltaic, semiconductor, or industrial equipment.
o Proven experience in supplier qualification, cost reduction, and localization projects.
61 Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
61 Language: Fluent English (written/verbal).
61 Soft Skills:
o Analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimization and supplier risk mitigation.
o Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently under the direction of the GM.
