● Lead to create 3D models, drawing, BOM and release according to customer input and program engineer input. ● Involved in a wide variety and large number of programs / projects and guides program / project development. ● Lead to provide guidance for complex assignments. ● Proficient at finding and optimizing appropriate tools, standards & processes (GPDM, KBME, Tenneco process, etc. ) ● Involve to create GD&T rules on drawings with respect to fixture, gauge and manufacturing feasibility. ● Create / participate in review of 3D & 2D design ● Anticipate and analyze customers’ needs for product development and formulate a recommendation design with considering low cost and feasibility of manufacturing to customer. ● Lead internal training for design process, standard, method, tools etc. ● Coach and train fresh design engineers. ● Lead troubleshooting and analyze the root cause ● Lead continuous improvement and innovation activities. ● Provide technical support and assistance to the manufacturing, quality, development, and program staff. ● Support and adhere to EH&S policies and procedures. ● Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ certifications:
● Bachelor of mechanical engineering with at least 6 years’ design experience in Automotive industry, or Master of Mechanical engineering with at least 3 years’ experience in Automotive industry ● Skill at using CAD software of CATIA V5 /NX. ● Skill at tool and manufacturing process development. ● Skill at knowledge of CAD and functional application of GD&T. ● Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills in English. ● Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and influence skills ● Good at learning capability and adaptability. ● Extensive experience in Planning & Organizing, Continuous Improvement capability.
