Responsibilities: - Support the development of the autoimmune research group and work together within the China Research as well as across the business. - Lead preclinical programs for autoimmune diseases as well as develop targeted therapies utilizing the company' s core platforms. - Independently design, direct and execute in-vivo studies in numerous autoimmune disease models either on an internal basis or with external partners. - Lead from the lab to advance novel and differentiated cell therapy products toward clinical milestones, by working collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams and external partners. - Develop novel assays or animal models to validate therapeutic modalities. - Identify possible therapeutic targets, contribute to project strategy and work with multifunctional teams for execution of that strategy. - Interpret and analyze data as well as present findings to internal stakeholders and external collaborators. Other duties may be assigned to this role. Qualifications: - PhD in immunology or similar field. - Deep knowledge in T, B and DC biology and MoA of autoimmune diseases. - Experience in human and mouse immunology as well as animal models of autoimmune diseases. - Technical expertise with immune cell culture and standard immunology assays including multi-color flow cytometry, ELISpot, cytokine profiling (MSD/Luminex/ELISA), ICS, microscopy, etc. - An ambitious scientist who demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills, efficient time management.
