Overview:
61Review market requirements and clarify use cases for next generation AXOS L3/BNG products
61Design and develop features for AXOS SSM (subscriber management module), such as DHCP server/relay, subscriber management, AAA, AGF, etc., including coding, unit-test, code review, functional test, auto-test case scripts.
61Investigate industry new technologies (FMC, SDN, network slicing, AI, Big data etc.), design and contribute to Calix end-to-end intelligent network solution (cloud -> network device).
61Read relevant industry standards, architect, and lead the technical evolution of NaaS for Calix products.
61Collaborate with Customer Support team to resolve customer issues.
61Continuously improve AXOS L3/BNG stability & scalability to help ramp ASM products in the fields.
Responsibilities:
In this highly challenging role, you will:
61Write functional and design specifications.
61Write software with a good quality.
61Provide technical leadership to keep Calix L3/BNG products aligning with industry standards and improve system performance, stability, and scalability.
61Build Calix-innovated distributed data-driven routing platform based on advanced centralized database.
61Effectively communicate your designs, ideas, and feedback to cross functional teams on technical matters.
61Write automation test cases, and perform thorough unit test, functional test, and integration test
61Conduct peer code reviews.
61Mentor and guide junior team members.
【任职要求】
Qualifications:
61BSCS (or equivalent) required, MSCS preferred.
6110+ years of C/C++ experience in Linux embedded development preferably with telecom or datacom industry.
61Solid knowledge in BNG, Routing protocols and access network solution.
61Hands-on experience with subscriber-access technologies (DHCP, PPPoE, etc.) is highly desired.
61Hands-on experience with BNG end subscriber management, Lawful intercept (LI) and related telemetry is highly desired.
61Hands-on experience with subscriber AAA (authentication, authorization, accounting) is highly desired.
61Knowledge and experience in FMC (fixed mobile convergence) is a big plus.
61Proficient in multi-thread/multi-process architecture, design, and coding
61Strong in TCP/IP and Network Programming.
61Be adept at communicating and collaborating with x-functional/boundary teams.
61Strong background in designing and developing event-based / pub-sub workflow solutions.
61Strong sense of ownership, be driven to continuously improve tools, methodology and process.
61Excellent English communication skills
61Excellent skills in problem analysis and troubleshooting.
Nice to Have:
61Experience on cgnat, ALG, NAT44, etc.
61Experiences of DPDK
61Experiences of NaaS, SDN, VNF (virtual network function)
61Experiences of dataplane software and knowledge of NP/switch SOC
61Experiences of Network element management such as Yang model, alarms/events and status collection.
61Experiences of Microsoft Azure SONiC or Arista EOS.
