Calix Solutions Test Team is seeking a senior solution test engineer based in Nanjing, China. Our team validates telecommunications equipment functions, which includes data, voice, video services and applications on access network products. The successful candidate will contribute to test and validate Calix access network products as well as some 3rd party applications.
Responsibilities:
61Work with Calix management on new and existing projects.
61Work with local and USA-based management to plan project details, create and maintain test environment.
61Work with 3rd party to perform test and resolve issues.
61Develop, document, and execute verification of solution test strategy and test plans individually and as part of a team.
61Develop comprehensive solution test cases and environments.
61Work with team to automate necessary cases to improve our test coverage and robustness.
61Work with customer service groups to reproduce and identify problems.
61Work with local and remote test engineers to support test automation.
61Write clear and concise problem descriptions and test reports.67
【任职要求】
Required Qualifications:
61Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering or Software Test Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
615+ years’ experience in telecommunications development or software test environment.
61Experience in data communications or telecommunications equipment testing in one or more of the following areas: IP, Video, FE/GE Ethernet, IPv6 etc.
61Strong knowledge in the Layer-2 xPON ONU products testing including control plane (data services and protocols) and data plane (OMCI/CLI/NETCONF/EWI)
61GPON/XGS/NG-PON related knowledge.
61Experience in popular container and technologies, and good troubleshooting skills through different cloud API.
61Experience of testing integrated 3rd party software.
61Ability to analytically break down complex problems and clarify the issues.
61Ability to automate test cases and scenarios. A good knowledge of automation test.
61Good communication skills for working with vendors and Calix groups.
61Strong verbal and written English skills.
61Self-motivated, process oriented, and detail oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
61Strong data communications knowledge.
61Strong knowledge of networking, telephony, or video services.
61Strong knowledge of smart home deployment and user cases.
61Test automation and script expertise.
61Experience on TR069 protocol test.
61Experience on solution test or customer service project.67
