The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of components and materials procured from external suppliers. This role involves proactive management of supplier performance, driving continuous improvement, and mitigating quality risks. Key Responsibilities: - Non-Conformity Management: Oversee the investigation and resolution of supplier-related non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. - Supplier Performance Improvement: Collaborate with suppliers to enhance overall quality performance, focusing on reducing defects (PPM). - Supplier Quality Audits: Conduct regular audits of supplier quality management systems to assess compliance and identify improvement areas. - Corrective Action Plans: Develop and implement effective corrective action plans with suppliers to address quality issues and prevent future occurrences. - Communication and Reporting: Communicate quality performance metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives to relevant stakeholders. - New Product Development: Monitor supplier capabilities and performance during new product development phases, ensuring alignment with quality standards. - Supplier Visits: Conduct on-site supplier visits to assess quality systems, manufacturing processes, and corrective action implementation. Requirements: -Bachelor Degree and major in manufacture related. -At least 7 years in the undercarriage area and familiar with component supplier landscape (e.g. forgings, castings, machining) -A solid understanding of quality management systems and methodologies is essential. -English and Mandarin speaking, fluent. -Proactive, assertive, team player. -Good Communication skill.
