Overview of Responsibilities 工作职责
1 Assist students in understanding and overcoming social, behavioural or academic problems

2 Provide group or individual counselling to address the needs of students

3 Monitor and observe students to identify and address personal, emotional or social issues

5 Consult with families and staff to highlight students’ needs and discuss strategies necessary for improved social and academic performance

6 Develop and implement school counselling programs effective in meeting students’ needs

Candidate Requirement & Skills 任职要求
1 Bachelor’s Degree or above in counselling, Social Work, Human Services. Play Therapy or relevant degree or certification in a counselling field.
心理咨询、社会服务、公共服务等专业的学士或以上学位。游戏疗法或心理咨询等相关学位或证书
2 Worked with children, understanding of Child Development, enthusiasm for working with children and young people, possess an understanding of the key issues impacting on young people’s lives today, a thorough knowledge of Child Protection and safeguarding in China is a plus

4 Highly developed counselling skills through education and experience, Computer skills, Systematic record keeping

6 Excellent communication and listening skills, Native or Near Native Chinese Speaker and Native or Near Native English Speaker, to maintain a client centred approach, be approachable
