Broadband service providers leverage the Calix broadband platform, cloud, and managed services to simplify operations, engagement, and service, innovate for their consumer, business. and municipal subscribers and grow their business and the communities they serve. Responsibilities: 61Support the definition of new product requirements, involved or lead HW cost estimation and block diagram definition as part of product plan discussion. 61Drive and manage ODM hardware team in new product development 61Review ODM deliverables to ensure product quality. 61Support the HW development process ensuring schedules are kept on track. 61Partner with the ODM vendor to identify and execute component qualifications for cost reduction or EOL purpose. 61Drive and manage ODM hardware team during continuous improvement cycles including: 61DFX consideration and implementation. 61Identify and improve potential marginal designs. 61Analyze field issues and implement corrective actions. 61Evaluate and execute some test cases for internal verification purposes. 61Continuous documentation improvement efforts such as sharing of best practices. Qualifications: 61Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronics, communication, automation or related fields. 616 years or above relevant industry hardware development experience in premise networking products. 61Familiar with access networking technology and standards. Strong Wi-Fi or PON experience is preferred. 61Familiar with major hardware interfaces including DDR, Flash, xMII, PCIE, Serdes, PCM, etc. Experience with SI/Timing and PI simulation are preferred. 61ODM/JDM business working experience is preferred. 61Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
