Roles and Responsibilities - Teaching and Learning 61 To plan, prepare and deliver an academic Chinese programme which facilitates an active learning experience for all students, in line with the mission and objectives of HTNIA 61 To assess, track and evaluate levels of progress and provide feedback to ensure that each student has the opportunity to succeed 61 To manage the classroom environment so that it supports and encourages learning 61 To always set high expectations, which motivate, challenge and encourage children 61 To identify and meet students’ varying needs 61 To work towards developing the best combination of Chinese and international learning in a bilingual context 61 To ensure outstanding pastoral care and that all safeguarding policies are followed 61 To conduct lectures, prepare test & exam papers, correct papers, manage classroom work 61 To support school wide activities, such as Parent Teacher Association, open house, direct extracurricular activities and committee work if necessary 61 To work as an academic advisor homeroom teacher if necessary
