The Project Manager plays a major role in problem identification and resolution during the program by highlighting potential areas of concern and promptly driving resolution of issues that affect program execution. Focus is on: translation of customer needs and requirements into detailed plans; execution of those plans; management of cross functional teams; program profitability; and development of customer relationships. The Project Manager may be required to manage more than one program simultaneously over a number of locations.

1. 规划、组织以及设定目标 Planning, organization and target setting: 61 Set up / maintains program structure (timing, team, budget), plans required resource 61 Cascades & meets agreed program targets to team members (Profitability & cost targets, program budget, quality & technical requirements, capital & tooling budget, program timing, supplier & end item PPAP & Customer targets: Quality & cost targets, technical & program objectives, specifications, development budget, timing/milestones, PPAP, tooling and so on). 61 Coordinate within project related team ((Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, OE Account management …) and plans team meeting schedules and timing for key meetings including technical and launch readiness reviews 61 Controlling / Managing / Escalating Problem Solving: 61 Systematically manages program risks 61 Follows up task completion, ultimately responsible to deliver program on time
2. 任务执行 Task Execution: 61 Leads multi-discipline team; program launch team typically consists of purchasing, process engineering, manufacturing, launch engineer, sales, product engineer & quality. 61 Integrates lessons learned from previous programs 61 Receives and critically assesses design proposals from technical project leader with respect to cost, timing & manufacturing feasibility. 61 Receives and critically assesses cost for price / engineering changes decisions/opportunities 61 Responsible for planning and follow-up of trial runs 61 Responsible for generating lessons learned
3. 沟通与汇报 Communication and Reporting: 61 Communicates to customer (timing, program status, change management) in customer language/format. 61 Cascades / publishes information to team and reports to management by using program review templates. 61 Ensures timely and complete update of program documentation 61 Records minutes of program meeting
任职要求 Job Responsibilities 61 Bachelor’s degree and above, MBA preferred. 61 More than 5 years project management experience in automotive area. 61 Working knowledge of financial management desirable (project costing / EBIT etc.) 61 Proficient in Microsoft Office, software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project) plus other computer applications. 61 Lead, motivate and drive a cross-functional team of 5 – 10 members, with strong teamwork sense. 61 Independent: able to work with autonomy within program targets with efficiency. 61 Make decisions based on multiple factors including engineering, financial, timing and quality inputs. 61 Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Chinese & English. 61 Quality focus with ability to communicate customer requirements (where the customers for the program include external and internal groups) 61 Self-starter, capable of handling multiple priorities and tasks. 61 Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work with people in pressure situations. 61 Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
