We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to work with suppliers, operations, R&D and quality team as an individual contributor, under general direction, contribute to AFTC materials regionalization and other supply chain KPIs.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
1 Supply base optimization - Regionalization 1.1 Increase spend % from AP sources to a certain level decided by management team 1.2 Spend analysis by utilizing 80/20 rule to identify sourcing opportunities. 1.3 Lead regionalization projects for the commodity of plastics and others under his/her commodity assignments. 1.4 Provide a timeline for regionalization projects for 1.3. 2 Supply base optimization - Alternative sourcing 2.1 Support global commodity teams in developing and implementing supply strategy for the assigned commodities. 2.2 ES project planning for his/her commodities. 2.3 Technical specification & commercial data preparation for sourcing projects. 2.4 As an interface to supplier & internal functions regard project timeline, engineering questions and quotation etc. 3 Commercial 3.1 System parametric update for new suppliers. (for example, vendor name, vendor contact details, payment terms and shipment terms etc.) 3.2 Item master update, including vendor code, unit price, MOQ and L/T etc. 3.3 Support Purchasing / SQE on the escalated issues related to supplier delivery / quality. 3.4 Contribute to the containment plan through activities from group 1 and group 2. 4 New Product Introduction 4.1 Support AFTC NPD needs. 4.2 Support AFTC NPI needs. 5 Special Project 5.1 Together with SQE, identify, evaluate, and assess suppliers with ESAC or CP-80 process. 5.2 Using CIP and other tools, identify and implement improvements in processes and procedures. 5.3 To implement ISO 9000/14000/18000 seriously and improve quality / environment / Occupational Health continuously.

For This Role, You Will Need: The candidate shall have at least 3 years of experience in supply chain or commodity management, mechanical or chemical commodities are preferred. Solid knowledge of financial markets that influence commodity prices. Good negotiation skills and effective communication with vendors and suppliers. Advanced analytical abilities. Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments.
61 BS Engineering, or equivalent 61 Strong technical skills in appropriate engineering field. Commercial and management experience a plus 61 Be familiar with ISO system
