Position Summary: Responsible for converting Commercial Logistics freight contracts into rate and route master data in SAP, which includes managing rate and route requests from customer service, logistics procurement, logistics operations and planning teams. Position will work with Strategic Sourcing Managers in Commercial Logistics to provide freight rate analysis to sales and marketing personnel and will also support transport cost processors in monthly closing activities. Responsible for spot quote process when receive request from Customer service, Export Ops team. Position will work with external vendors like carrier, freight forwarder, airline to get competitive quotation, and get back to internal stakeholders.
Areas of Responsibility: Maintain Rates, Routes, and Route guides in SAP master data Analyze and troubleshoot Rate, Route and Routing guide errors and respond to raised quality notifications (QN's} Support Freight Resolver Payment Process — Add missing or revise incorrect rates required for vendor payments Provide freight estimates to Supply Chain/Marketing & Sales, otherwise coordinate with Strategic Sourcing Manager to obtain estimate or in cases contact vendors directly Maintain fuel surcharge rates in SAP master data Support Supply Chain transport cost processing by entering missing rates and routes that are obstructing the creation of shipment cost documents in order to comply with SOX Provide manual costing of non-contracted shipments Support ad-hoc scenarios (i.e., plant closings, new ship points) that require the addition or deletion of rate and route master data in SAP Support any Logistics Procurement tender and operational changes RRC responsible to provide immediate technical help to team members If RRC cannot resolve the issue by him/herself then he/she is supposed to turn to functional OpEx team to get support from them Responsible to prepare a training material and get it validated by OpEx team. After validation the training document has to be uploaded to the Supply Chain. Independently develop and participate on projects from concept to ompletion. Seek opportunities to identify possible knowledge and process gap and actively participate in SAP transactional improvements Focus on SAP root cause analyses Work with external vendors to get spot quotation, and provide competitive quotation for internal stakeholders
Basic requirement: International Logistics/Trade knowledge & experience SAP system experience preferrable, but not MUST English fluent on both oral and written Excellent communication/collaboration/learning skills Bachelor degree 3+ working experience
