Roles and Responsibilities - Teaching and Learning 61 To plan, prepare and deliver an academic Chemistry programme which facilitates an active learning experience for all students, in line with the mission and objectives of HTNIA 61 To assess, track and evaluate levels of progress and provide feedback to ensure that each student has the opportunity to succeed 61 To manage the classroom environment so that it supports and encourages learning 61 To always set high expectations, which motivate, challenge and encourage children 61 To identify and meet students’ varying needs 61 To work towards developing the best combination of Chinese and international learning in a bilingual context 61 To ensure outstanding pastoral care and that all safeguarding policies are followed 61 To prepare teaching materials, conduct lectures, mark homework, make and mark test & exam papers, manage classroom work 61 To act as a mentor, support school wide activities, such as Parent Teacher Association, Admissions Open Day, Course Selection Briefing, Extracurricular activities, committee work, School Calendar Activities 61 To work as a homeroom teacher if necessary
