Main purpose of Quality Technician (Torque Technician) is to support the usage of torque tools, perform DTV (Daily Torque Verification). Work on or support Engineer with data collection, root cause analysis, process improvement. Support deviation containment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Follow Scania SHE and Quality guideline Understand Scania torque standards (CVS23, CVS27, STD4515 etc.) Setup tightening tools and program configuration Monitor the torque traceability system and the torque tool/process capability (Ppk/Cpk) Monitor the tightening process (Deviation rate, ergonomic situation, and so on) and improve the tightening program Perform daily torque verification according to DTV guideline and routine Support mainline to perform the initial root cause and provide the short-term solution Verify the torque strategy related to EFR/ECO and give feedback to team leader Whenever there is a new method/tools, support engineer of the introduction process Improve the DTV and tightening process based on daily work findings Good sense to find abnormal trace and send alert to team Other tasks assigned by manager Education and/or Experience Vocational or College,related working experiences one year at least Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience of tightening tool or inspection is preferred Familiar with tightening tools/software Industrial automation principles (SCADA, MES, Traceability…) Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma/ SPS core methods Problem solving and quality tools/Risk management (PFMEA) Change management and deviation handling Big data and Data analytics basic concepts Technical drawing analysis and interpretation MS Office Word, Excel etc. Self-disciplined, honest & a can-do attitude. Concentration & attention to details Experience and/or training in product or process inspection is preferred
