The Engineering program is an introduction program and a unique way of kick-starting your career within Scania Production and Logistics. Within Production and Logistics, Scania′s production system (SPS) forms the basis for everything we do and represents our values, principles and priorities. SPS helps us to improve our quality, ergonomics, productivity and result in a more sustainable production process. After the program, you will start working in one of our engineering or logistics functions. As an engineering, your will manage procurement of production equipment from pre-study and requirement setting through procurement all the way to installation and implementation. Define requirements on the assembly, test and paint operations to meet product requirements and define the assembly line balance to meet capacity requirements. You will act as the main interface towards R&D and towards involved equipment suppliers.
Qualifications: High potential graduates with maximum 2 years of working experience prior; Master in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management or similar; Proficiency in oral and written expression in English.
Soft skills: Strong interest in technology and problem solving; Collaborative, effective communication skills and knowledge of relevant technical areas; Ability to plan work in a logical and thorough manner, lead and organize projects, and independently drive activities in the context of a broader team project; Ability to take initiative, solve problems quickly and efficiently, and deliver results.
