POSITION SUMMARY: The Product Manager is responsible for a group of products at the manufacturing site level. He/she will expand the existing product range through focused strategy to increase market share and support a sustaining profitability of the product lines on his/her scope. 1. Define positioning of product line in market as well as Go-To-Market strategy and prioritization amongst HPLs to optimize overall gross margin of product line. 2. Identify new business opportunities on existing products and drive their Go-To-Market strategy working closely with sales team. 3. Implement pricing strategy rules and lead regular review of their application to maximize profitability. 4. Optimize Portfolio Profitability through specific strategy in gaining market share, increasing profitability, developing new business opportunities, and driving operations effectiveness. 5. Implement relevant Product Training, Collaterals, Sample Kits, Sales Tools including Website content development & up-date to ensure the sales are fully equipped and trained and up-to-date at all times. Ensure promotion materials and marketing actions are in place with the help of Marketing Communication team. 6. Coordinate HPLs business throughout the lifecycle being the link between sales, engineering, plant product managers. 7. Implement product extension/modification to fill portfolio gaps and Customer Specific products/customization. 8. Develop business case screening document to decide Product Extension. 9. Review Opportunities/business case, support Product Line manager in prepare AR and be responsible for ROI. 10. Support Product Line Manager in preparing Monthly Portfolio Review including issues and plan to address those with implementation milestones for anything to do with the Portfolio owned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, Electronics or Engineering 2. MBA or equivalent is desired. 3. Must have at least 5 years of product marketing experience as a preferred candidate. 4. Exposure in multi-national hi-tech sales / marketing environment is preferred. 5. Must have at least 5 years of project management and engineering experience of connector industry. 6. Must understand manufacturing processes. 7. Familiarity of indigenous business transaction in global countries. 8. Strong analytical communication skills. 9. Business awareness. 10. Customer service. 11. Proficiency in English & Mandarin. 12. Quick learner and eager to develop and improve.
