We are seeking a highly skilled Process and Quality Engineer to oversee and optimize final testing processes at our OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) subcontractors, particularly at TFME.
This role ensures high-quality standards in semiconductor testing while driving continuous improvement in collaboration with production, engineering, and suppliers. The position requires close coordination with Elmos’ internal teams and external partners to resolve technical and quality-related issues efficiently.
Responsibility
61 Supplier Quality & Process Oversight:
- Ensure supplier quality standards are met in alignment with IATF 16949 requirements.
- Implement and review Quality Management System (QMS) processes at subcontractors.
- Act as a Resident Engineer at supplier sites when necessary, providing on-site support.
61 Final Testing Process Management:
- Collaborate closely with OSAT production and engineering teams to perform functional final testing of Elmos’ automotive ICs.
- Oversee machine configuration, setups, and maintenance of testers, handlers, and DUT boards.
- Manage recipe management and organize/perform product release measurements.
- Support troubleshooting to maximize machine throughput and availability.
- Address and resolve quality-related issues proactively to prevent recurrence.
61 Interface & Communication:
- Serve as the key technical liaison between Elmos and subcontractors.
- Communicate with Elmos experts in case of test or logistic challenges.
- Provide regular reporting to the External Test Responsible team at Elmos.
