Key accountabilities/Responsibilities: Performs manufacturing engineering work relating to production processes. Plans & oversees manufacturing equipment related to production processes. Assists in planning of equipment, workflow sequence, production methods and equipment utilization. Focus on quality of products produced in the production systems. Track, analyze and record equipment overall effectiveness and identify process improvements. Identify & implement process cost reductions. Maintain manufacturing excellence on all equipment. Create equipment preventive maintenance procedures. Assist in training of production operators and maintenance personnel on production equipment. Work in team environment with Quality and Application Engineers on current. Production issues and future customer programs. Safety awareness is a priority requirement. Adhere to safety rules and practices. Identify safety equipment and provide safety training on production processes. Promote safety in all activities and be a leader in dealing with safety issues through-out the facility. Create and update production floor documents relating to production equipment: Process flows, PFMEA, control plans, operator work instructions, routing standards. Plan and oversee the installation and startup of manufacturing equipment. Train operators and maintenance personnel on newly installed equipment. Plan and define product packaging specifications and assist Purchasing Department in implementing the packaging specifications. Strictly abide the EHS rules and regulations and behavior guideline in the plant; Any other tasks assigned by supervisor Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3-5 years experience with manufacturing assembly processes. Hands-on mechanical experience with electro\mechanical production equipment. Desire to spend time on production floor dealing with equipment issues. Good problem solving techniques. Team oriented Likes working with people.
