The Sales Manager will work closely with the Export Manager, focusing on leading and developing the sales team to achieve and exceed our revenue targets. Job position – Export Sales Manager
Missions 1. Develop Sales Strategy * Collaborate with the Export Manager to define sales targets, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs). * Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape in the consumer goods sector. * Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to stabilize and expand our customer base, with a focus on customer retention and loyalty. * Explore new markets through strategic initiatives, including participation in trade fairs
2. Team Management and Leadership: * Lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them achieve their individual and team sales goals. * Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and personal growth. * Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the team's selling skills and product knowledge in the consumer goods industry.
3. Sales Performance and Target Achievement: * Monitor sales activities, track progress against targets, and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement. * Provide guidance and support to the sales team in overcoming challenges, closing deals, and achieving individual and team sales goals. * Implement sales incentive programs to drive motivation and reward outstanding performance.
4. Customer Relationship Management: * Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, particularly retailers in Western countries, to maximize business opportunities. * Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer loyalty, satisfaction, and retention. * Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events, such as the Canton Fair and Ambiente Frankfurt, to showcase our products and expand our network
Additional Duties: * Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the consumer goods sector. * Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. * Work together with export manager to supervise quality/price problems faced by the customers/suppliers and fix issues to improve the business under the CMP policy.
Applicants Profile: * Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages such as Japanese, Spanish, French, etc. is a plus. * Minimum of 3 years' experience as an export/sales manager in international trade. * Good experience on developing new customers& markets * Ability to manage pricing strategies & customer chasing effectively. * Sales-minded and results-oriented. * Excellent negotiation and communication skills. * In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods market, with a focus on retailers in Western countries. * Team-oriented with a corporate mindset. * Rigorous, responsible, and autonomous. * Experience in/with International Business.
