Payroll Specialist (One-year contractor)

About the job

You will join dynamic Asia HR Operations Team, providing support to achieve high performance and ensure the smooth delivery of transition projects across the region. Your responsibilities will include:

61 Process end-to-end payroll for China, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
61 Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and company policies.
61 Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee data, tax information, and other relevant documentation.

In your future role as “ Payroll Specialist (One-year contractor)” you will

61 Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees and management.
61 Generate payroll reports and perform data analysis for management review.
61 Assist with other HR operations tasks as needed, including benefits administration and employee data management.
61 Support China & Asia region HR Operation transition project(s), have the opportunity to communicate effectively with different stakeholders within/across functions.
61 Other Ad-hoc assignments.

We believe you bring

61 You hold a bachelor's/master's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Computer/Data Science, or a related field.
61 You have 2-4 years of experience in HR within a large multinational company, including a minimum of 2 years of experience with Payroll HR Systems (preferably SAP) and expertise in data reporting and analysis.
61 You are a team player with a high sense of accountability, capable of handling multiple tasks, and work effectively in an English-speaking environment.
61 You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and good communication skills.
61 You are proactive, well-organized, and immediately available (highly preferred).
61 Experience with Japan HR operations and payroll is preferred.
