1. Duties & Responsibilities : Specific duties including, but not restricted to : - Answer overseas e-mails/faxes -overnight in professional way - Answer all incoming calls politely with professional manner - Keep consignee/shipper/overseas up to date on issues affecting them - Follow the credit control procedures in place - Approve invoices from overseas office/agents & sub-contractors - Chase correct profit shares from overseas office/agents - Awareness for profit & budget goals, close & file all jobs once checked - Report any special occasions to superior on time - Follow superior's instructions and implement policies - Place booking with shipping line & release booking to shipper timely - Data quality matches company's target - Ensure the customer's requirements are being fulfilled - Pro-actively help to take actions to improve customer experience - Provide quality liaison services between clients, overseas agents, suppliers and partners and inter-office departments, while supporting sales with any rate, svc connection etc if needs.
2. Skills & Educational Requirements : - Good communication with local customers and overseas - Good in English and Chinese - PC knowledge - Good knowledge of freight forwarding operational processes with min. 2 years of experience. - Customer service driven attitude, good telephone manner with proficiency. - Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to find efficient solutions for the customers.
3. Inter Relationships : - Good communications with superior. - Good contact with all levels of personnel within the company, clients and vendors.
4. Working conditions : Flexible hours required occasionally.
5. Needed Attributes : Punctual, Hard-working, sincere, able to give feedback to Superior & Department Head. Able to work under pressure.
