Major Responsibilities: - Owns performance metrics of Customer Incident Due to Supplier and Supplier PPM for assigned suppliers. - Ensures the execution of PPAP for new products, modified products, and resourcings. - Executes a plan of PCPA audits at existing suppliers. - Defines specific improvement plans for suppliers based on findings from current production and audits. - Strongly supports 8D problem resolution at suppliers. - Manages quality crises at suppliers. - Verifies the implementation of CSL1 and CSL2 at suppliers' sites. - Supports the purchase organization in evaluating potential new suppliers through PSA. - Uses globally standardized work methods. - Inspects quality standards at supplier locations. - Assists suppliers in solving part quality problems. - Cooperates with plant quality and other functions regarding business or supplier parts. - Completes other assignments by the SQA Manager. Education and Experience: - A bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering. - At least 5 years of experience in the quality/technical field, especially in casting, gears, machining, heat treatment, and standard parts. - Familiarity with the quality issues and manufacturing processes of spiral bevel gears. - Solid knowledge of quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc. - Solid knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9000 and IATF 16949.
