Responsibilities: 1. Advanced Product Quality Planning - Solid understanding of quality control and manufacturing concepts to provide assistance to develop the specific part. - Interface between internal and external groups to ensure proper definition of quality expectations and appropriate assurance techniques are used. - Assessment of measurability, identify and direct studies to implement improvements in measuring method where appropriate. - Establish audit procedures appropriate to project and supplier to ensure adherence to STIHL quality standards. - Other APQP activities according to STIHL procedures. 2. Series Part Quality Maintenance - Quick and effective response to quality non-conforming issue, through tracking and containing defect/suspected parts to ensure downstream quality safety. - Implement quality complain procedure according to STIHL standard. - Perform the supplier quality improvement/development in the responsibility. 3. Supplier Quality Management - Supplier selection process for new projects and second sourcing activities supporting qualification/disqualification decisions. - Application of supplier audits in different scenarios. - Supplier performance evaluation.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor degree (or above) of Engineering is required, majored in Mechanical or Electrical is preferred. 2. Five+ years of experience in quality area and three+ years of experience in supply chain area. 3. Strong knowledge on AIAG Five-core-tools, strong ability on driving corrective actions and failure analysis is required. 4. Knowledge of quality and reliability concepts, supplier management, and general manufacturing operations. An area of expertise such as a specific process, material or industry is key to show depth of knowledge base. Experience with commodity of battery, motor, electric parts or PCBA is preferred. 5. Project management experience and a solid understanding of quality tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis and statistical process control principles preferred. 6. Experience developing quality plans, supplier quality audits is required. 7. Good communication and cooperation skills among cross functions, strong ability to adapt to new working environments. 8. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required. 9. Willing to travel frequently.
