Tasks Summary & Responsibilities
- Closely work with PBL SQE and clearly understanding the TE standards (DWG/Cosmetic standard/Sampling method/QIP/BKM/Packaging spec/Change control/Workmanship, etc.)
- On-site check samples/process based on TE standard.
- On-site Supplier training. (BKM/documentation/inspection/calibration method, etc.)
- On-site Supplier FQA/inspector/QC qualification.
- High frequency on-site process audit and report out. (ensure the implementation which already been standardized to prevent re-occurrence for customer and internal issues)
- Product process control (identify risk and work out mitigation plan with SQE)
- CoPQ and Yield data collection On-site and ensure the data accuracy.
- Basic skill to do root-cause analysis for on-site production quality issues and following through with timely and effective corrective actions for yield improvement.
- Summarize the findings, actions and data efficiently, submit to SQE.
- Confidentiality Responsibilities: abide by TE confidentiality rules.
Educational Degree
- College degree (or above) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Professional Experience02
- Minimum 5 years’ working experience in supplier quality or in related quality function areas, working experience in connector, Cable assembly, Cage assembly, Antenna manufacturing is a plus.
- 2-3 years of on-site quality management experience
Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Have process quality control experience, and clearly understanding (measurement techniques, CCD/E-tester calibration method, Risk identification, Sampling methodology, Data collection methodology.)
- Connector/cable assembly/antenna/busbar manufacturing experience is a plus
- Have knowledge of the supplier management, certified ISO9001/IATF16949 internal auditor is preferred.
- Basic root cause analytical and problem-solving skills.02
- Basic knowledge in quality tools such as BKM, Cpk, SPC,8D, Gage R&R, Poka-Yoke.
- Ability for periodic travel required. (60%-80%)
- Strong communication skills, Based English skill is preferred
