The Production/Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for controlling all items manufactured and purchased through the Skope Qingdao facility to meet production schedules, ensuring that the operation’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System (JDE) is correctly maintained. In addition, the individual is to provide support to the wider Skope production control and purchasing community to maintain load balancing throughout the organisation. All responsibilities must be carried out in a positive and professional manner, displaying a commitment to improvement and quality processes at all times.
Key Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes Production Co-ordination 61 Create and maintain bills of material and routings from drawings and parts lists, accurately entering routings and component information into computer. (create and maintain accurate BOM in ERP system including lead time, MOQ etc) 61 Create all jobs to manufacture items required for customer orders, entering information into computer within required time frame.(Create, schedule and follow WOs in ERP system and production) 61 Issue purchase requests of all items required in a timely manner in order to meet production schedules.(Go though MRP with Purchasing to make sure material are ordered in time) 61 Produce work centre schedules as required to enable production targets to be met, making necessary adjustments to accommodate customer requirements. 61 Coordinate switch time and material availability when there are product or design change in production; 61 Carry out all assigned production projects as required.
Inventory Control 61 Maintain inventory control by monitoring inventory levels, reviewing adjustments and assisting with reconciliation at stock takes. 61 Control accuracy of shopfloor production transactions and make required adjustments to ensure production schedule quantities are correct.
