1. Prepare test specifications for system, assembly and component validation testing of IFE- Products.(40%) 2. Organize, manage and perform validation tests in accordance with test specifications. Tests may be internal within IFE-V or external within the facilities of other organizations.(35%) 3. Manage and maintain the testing area, including tools and mock-ups, in an outstanding state of tidiness, organization and cleanliness in accordance with best practice housekeeping principles such as 5S.(15%) 4. Manage and prepare mock-ups as required to support sales activities at road-shows, trade fairs and other demonstrations as required.(5%) 5. Set and maintain standards of hi-workmanship and professionalism in the fields of assembly, build and test of the mockups.(5%) 6. Monitor and report on the KPI (FAI Performance) monthly to the engineering manager. 7. Maintain an accurate record of daily activities within the engineering time booking system.
Requirements:
1. College Degree or above in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or an another engineering field related to Railway and/or Safety/Maintenance engineering. 2. Posseses excellent familiarity with the requirements of EN14752 3. have the knowledge of the electrical wire diagram and mechinical installation and adjustment.. 4. have the ability to design the testing tools and testing procedure 5. 5 years experience working within a railway engineering field with a minimum of 3 years testing and validation experience
