Job Description for Waste Heat Boiler System Process Engineer
Responsibilities:
1. Review technical inquiries and customer specification.
2. Provide support to sales for technical clarification and waste heat boiler system technical proposal development.
3. Provide fully support for global project execution on waste heat boiler system.
4. Responsible for waste heat boiler system process design, related equipment calculation and design, and system process optimization.
5. Generate process configuration, develop P&ID and PFD, material and energy balance calculation, utility and consumable balance calculation, heat & mass calculation and major equipment datasheets generation.
6. Develop system process description and logic description.
7. Participate project kick off meeting, P&ID review and HAZOP review.
8. Review and comment vendor’s drawings and related documents.
9. Support and coordinate with other disciplines and departments.
10. Ensure the design is in accordance with related Code and matches Custom Requirements, resulting in higher customer satisfaction and cost savings.
11. Solve complex problems where analysis of a situation is required in order to meet the requirements of the customer.
12. Provide technical support during system pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree with major in chemical process - Master degree is preferred.
2. More than 10-year experience on process design, incinerator and waste heat boiler system experience will be preferred.
3. Strong background in process design, commissioning and system start-up will be preferred.
4. Good knowledge of both local and international codes, standards and regulations.
5. Must be capable of working in a team environment.
6. Willingness to learn new technologies, ability to work independently Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
