Job Title: QA - Garments Industry Reports To: QA Team Leader
Position Overview: QA analyst is a professional responsible for ensuring the overall quality of products. Its primary targets are to verify the quality of garments or batches after production, identify defects, and ensure only high-quality products reach the customer regarding the fitness and measurement of the garments.
Key Responsibilities 1, Quality Management: - Conduct regular inspections and quality audits of textile products. Fitting meetings and others. - Ensure all production processes and finished products meet internal and external quality standards. 2, Reporting & Documentation: - Maintain accurate records of all quality assurance inspections and corrective actions and input this to our system (XPC). - Prepare and submit regular reports on quality performance and issues to management. - Document all incidents of quality failures and ensure follow-up on corrective action plans. 3, Supplier & Vendor Quality Management: - Ensure good communication and information sent to vendors to make sure quality requirements and corrective actions are implemented. 4, Continuous Improvement: - Available to receive training in low peak seasons. - Proactively stay up to date with innovations in technical fields and technological advancements.
Key Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, Quality Management, or a related field. Experience: 1, At least 2 years of experience in the garment manufacturing industry for QA. QA analyst role in quality assurance. 2, Strong knowledge in garment manufacturing and pattern making as well as size spec and grading rules. 3, Proven experience in implementing quality assurance processes.
Knowledge & Expertise 1, Good communication, and interpersonal skills. Being proactive is strongly desired. To be able to work independently with overseas designers/technicians to formulate and amend size specifications. 2, well organized in working with high efficiency, can work independently 3, Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and address even the smallest discrepancies in garment quality. 4, Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions. 5, Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with quality management software. 6, Language: English speaking and writing skills.
