Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-sales technical support work of the project; Cooperate with the project manager to deal with technical problems during the project (including after sales);
- Completed the mechanical design tasks of the project on time and according to the quantity, including designing part drawing, assembly drawing, making BOM and assembly operation instruction;
- Provide technical support for mechanical problems in the assembly and commissioning of production equipment;
- Collaborate with PM, suppliers, sourcing and QC to assure engineering quality within the defined targets
- Analyze root cause for product or production issue, work out and validate the solution, conduct the solution verification
- Create 3D model of the part, define specification to reach the function, assembly, quality requirement.
- Responsible for mechanical design changes in each link to ensure the accuracy of design data;
- Improve technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree of Science Mechanical Engineering, industrial design, mechanical manufacturing and Mechatronics and electromechanical designs or other professional background
- At least 5 working experiences of 3D part and assembly modeling, design of mechanisms
- 3-5 working experiences of Autodesk Inventor modeling & FEA
- Complex structure modeling and design with stack up analysis and DFM principles for DFA/DFM and production machine and tool design
- Finite Element analysis, testing, and modeling
- Part design and material evaluation applicability to new designs
- FMEA, Pareto Principle, and Value Analysis/Value Engineering practice in design work
- Proven ability to estimate project tasks and meet project schedules
- Product Lifecycle Management Exposure (EOL, Change Management, Quality System, PLS, BOM, Sourcing, VA/VE)
- Familiar with production and raw material process, product quality requirement and machine precision/process error.
- Have rich knowledge of raw materials, and choose suitable raw materials according to customer requirements (especially wood, metal, glass, acrylic, etc.)
- Skilled computer skills, skilled in using Inventor software
- Be proactive and willing to accept challenges.
