Deliver on the KPI targets, meet consumer requirements, uphold the Assemble brand image and realize the brand direction
1.Oversee the Gross Margin, assortment plan, revenue target and stock provision.
2.Create seasonal business strategies that meet financial goals and customer expectations
3.Collaborate across multiple functions and disciplines ncluding but not limited to Marketing, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Logistics and e-commerce teams to maintain pricing, margin and assortment structure.
4.Translate market demand and trend information into commercially viable merchandise strategies based upon numerical analysis (sell through, pricing parameters, quantities, etc.)
5. Partner with Marketing to ensure that brand storytelling drives customer traffic and is consistent
6. Lead the team to determine new areas of growth, rank and plan the assortment, set pricing strategy and interpret and act on sales data
7. Successfully manage and develop a team of 4 buyers of varying experience
8. Identify and incorporate relevant trends into the product offering in a brand-appropriate way
9.Partner with Visual Merchandising to ensure assortment and feel of the store is consistent with merchandising direction
Job requirements
1. Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
2. Specific experience in fashion retail merchandising preferably within multi-brand environment (5+ years)
3. Advanced planning and analytical skills
4. Good judgement and decision making ability
5. Astute commercial sense
6. Confidence in asserting calculated risks
7. Strong customer awareness and understanding
8. Passionate about product, strong market and brand awareness
9. A blend of financial knowledge and creative merchandising skills
