I. Tasks / activities:
- Development of new colour shades under laboratory and sales projects and their implementation at the customer
- Product service and maintenance
- Answering of customer requests in coordination with the superior and the sales department
- Measurement of colour samples
- Measurement of colour differences
- Compilation of measurement reports
- Training of both staff members and customers
- Measurement of standardising colouring
- Maintenance and calibration of measuring instruments
- General administrative tasks in the lab
- Assistance in adjusting and reprocessing defective batches
II. Knowledge / skills required of a Lab Technician
College/university degree in chemistry
More than 3 years’ work experience in color development in coating industry
Sense of responsibility and flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
Excellent analytical and creative ability
Good communication skill
Teamwork spirit
Good English skill
