Key responsibilities 1. Review fabric dyelot/shading and give comments according to GJ standard at office. 2. Do basic physical home testing at office according to GJ manual and give comments accordingly. 3. Review and evaluate 3rd party testing report and give comments as per GJ manual. 4. Review fabric defects and give comments according to GJ Manual. 5. Summary shading, testing monthly/quarterly/yearly report.
Qualification:
College degree or equivalent above in textile engineering or garment manufacturing. Over 3 years textile fabric inspection experiences in similar position. Well know fabric (woven, cut&sewn) fabrication, knitting, dying, finishing. Well know 4 point fabric inspection processes, color evaluation and how to utilize light box. Understand basic fabric test requirements for European & US, comprehend common testing protocols, knowledgeable for lab test methodologies and equipment will be an excellent plus. Logically explain reasons behind decision. Familiar with Basic Microsoft Office, such as Excel, word and PowerPoint. Good English level to read and writing. Comprehend and execute Gloria Jeans quality control processes documents & SOPs. Communicate with Cross Functional Teams collaboratively & effectively to introduce findings during fabric reviewing. Is fully engaged to learn advanced industrial techniques at a deeper to develop expertise. Execute leader’s job assignments with good working attitude, willing to accept stretch assignment with can do attitude. Self motivated for Individual Development Plan to build up professionalism.
