1. Market information integration: regularly research and analyze the overall trend of route development and market freight rates; collect and sort out the information on the capacity and volume changes, market competition dynamics, and freight fluctuations of relevant routes;

2. Expansion and maintenance of VOCC relations: responsible for the maintenance of the headquarters & POLs relationship of various VOCCs on the route; responsible for the development and establishment of the relationship between the VOCCs of the route according to the needs of business development; responsible for negotiating with the company's core VOCCs and signing multi-port freight contracts, Reduce the purchase cost of freight;
承运人关系拓展与维护:负责航线上各类承运人总部及口岸关系维护;根据业务发展需要,负责航线承运人关系开拓与建立;负责与公司核心承运人洽谈并签订多口岸的运价合约,降低运价采购成本;

3. Tariff procurement management: supervise the local tariff procurement in various regions, as well as the implementation of the long-term tariff agreement signed by the headquarters in each business unit, and coordinate various matters of the VOCCs during the execution of the contract;
运价采购管理:监督各个区域的本地运价采购情况,以及总部签订运价长约在各个业务单元的执行情况,协调合约执行过程中承运人端的各类事务;

4. Sea freight assistance: Provide necessary sea freight business assistance, including rates, space and other relevant sea freight matters.
给予业务发展部门同事必要的航线运价支持,包括价格,仓位和其他海运相关事宜。

Your Responsibilities
· Active management of the customers' carrier contracts to ensure allocation agreements, booking and equipment tasks are within the agreed service levels and objectives are met.
· Manage customer allocation planning based on forecasting and customer/ overseas agents & offices / Key Account Management interactions.
· Being proactive and having a good grasp on exception management to mitigate risks to customer supply chains.
· Responsible for escalation and intervention with branches and carriers.
· Provide alternate communication channels to stakeholders, beyond the daily operational channels.
· Contribute to the design and implementation of improvements to processes or policies in our ocean freight product.
· The primary point of contact for all Asia POLs escalations issues with the carriers.
· Analyze and assess current carrier relationships and bring & develop new supplier relationships where appropriate.
· Where necessary, interact with customers and work alongside and support local, regional, national sales or commercial teams on customer meetings.
· Actively participate in customer enquiries and tender management to ensure we deliver best possible pricing and solutions at all times.
· Support global, regional and country sales with market intelligence and other insights to attract and win more customer over to the organization.
· Be instrumental in ocean product design by enhancing current set-ups and develop new solutions.
· Gather, analyze, monitor and shift vendors pending their performance on costs and service.
· Optimize and fulfill allocations as per carrier commitment.
· Support implementation of new business together with sales and customer service.


We expect you are qualified in the following:
· Experience:
· Minimum 8 years of ocean procurement, global IFF experience preferred.
· A high degree of procurement and pricing skills at a regional level.
· Experienced in all kinds of local/regional/global RFPs & Tenders
· Transpacific routes (USA & Canada) is a plus
· Agility:
· Ability to thrive and accelerate in a fast-moving environment.
· P&L understanding
· Compliant/Result-driven/Profitable working mode
· Commercial
· Strong commercial mindset and product knowledge.
· Creative and driven to win and develop new opportunities.
· Interpersonal & Communication
· Strong written and spoken English with experience in dealing with international and national teams.
· Additional languages are useful but not essential. However strong intercultural awareness is.
· Strong cooperative mindset within local and global product team.
