Job description Lead all the activities related to the management of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control and coordinates all the efforts to improve the quality of the processes in order to satisfy the customer requirements and needs. - Ensure the alignment of the Quality Manual System with the requested Standards; this includes the preparation and maintenance of data, procedures, instructions, documentation systems, and their management. - Prepare adequately the organization, to sustain customer and third part audits, coordinate the auditing team during the visits, ensure that follow up actions are clearly identified and implemented. - Run internal audits, report findings properly and identify improvement areas. - Guarantee to the General Manager and Corporate Operations that any preventive/corrective action necessary to close Customers Non Conformities is properly managed. - Establish and maintain a Quality KPI (key performance indicator) system, and reporting the results periodically to the GM. - Coordinate and report with/to Corporate Quality Manager on quality issues and specific projects (e.g. Six Sigma and 5S implementation). - Verify that only accurate, current, and authorized documentation is available to the Production Department. - Inform or instruct employees of any deviations or changes ensuring line personnel are thoroughly trained, certified and are performing their assigned functions. - Assist supervisors in conducting training and cross training of line operators. - Set quality requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance, guarantee that NC material is identified and replaced on time according to the internal production and customer needs. - Supplier evaluation, validation and qualification. - Supervise inspectors, QE and other staff and provide guidance and feedback. - Be on the lookout and propose opportunities for improvement in people, procedure and process, and develop new efficient procedures. - Other jobs assigned by General Manager & Corporate Operations.
Profile requirement - Min. 5 years experience in mechanical and integration manufacturing industry - Excellent math abilities and work knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods - Six Sigma green/black belt - Lean production leader - In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards - Excellent organizational and leadership skills - Outstanding communication skills - Excellent negotiation skills - Hands-on attitude, able to proactively identify and solve issues on the factory floor - A keen eye for details and a results driven approach - Conscientious and responsible - Proven experience in quality system management - Management experience and personality: ability to develop, motivate and challenge the team to perform to their full potential through direct and timely formal and informal feedback, result oriented - Fluent spoken and written English mandatory
