1. Liaise with Terminal Operator for Change of Vessel (COV), Change of Destination (COD), re-handling, late come acceptance, cancel shipment and hold shipment arrangement upon shipper’s request 2. Prepare OBL/LBF/Loading list/ to MSC SIN & MSC SOR or Partner 3. Prepare stowage instruction/discharging Plan/Summary to all relevant parties 4. Coordinate daily CY-IN code/block code change upon request 5. Submit/check VGM declaration to terminal 6. Prepare all IMO and other special cargo documents, submitting to Chief Mate upon vessel arrival 7. Collect all the relevant documents from ship side / Terminal and Tally office 8. Perform any other job duties assigned by immediate supervisor and management 9. Coordinate with Tally/terminals on container damage case occurred in Shanghai terminals 10. Coordinate with local VSA partners
The Shanghai Operation Department Port Captain team is responsible for daily execution of cargo loading/discharging, cost negotiation, emergency handling and any other cargo operation related issues occurred in Shanghai port, who is the direct coordinator to terminals, state agents and other related venders The Port Captain is the direct coordinator to terminals, state agents and other related venders on daily business execution.
