Responsibilities
1) Work with the customers throughout the whole process of parts delivery, inspection and installation on aircrafts.
2) Report quality and transportation issues to Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse (LTS) or Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg (LLI).
3) Support the on-aircraft tests after installation (on ground).
4) Work with the Liebherr Teams to support the flight tests campaign.
5) Analyse issues, and propose technical solutions in adequation with development strategy of the project, as instructed by the Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse and Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg program team.
6) Follow FAL list and verify respect of closure dates for open items
7) Respect and enforce quality procedures of aeronautical development work
8) Assistance to the airframer to disposition problem reports, deviations and defects.
9) On-wing cosmetic reworks, in support of an airframers’ authorised mechanic or under the constant supervision of an airframers’ authorised mechanic.
10) Off-wing minor reworks with issuance of CoC
11) Assistance to partners’ FAL team for the above (a partner being a supplier of Liebherr to whom Liebherr has flown down an essential part of the contract provisions that Liebherr has in its own contract with the airframer, among which FAL support obligations)
12) Harmonisation of QSR/FAL surveys with the Customer on OE request
13) On-wing cosmetic reworks, only with issuance of a TA (Technical Accomplishment) and in support of an airframers’ authorised mechanic or under the constant supervision of an airframers’ authorised mechanic and, if part of the execution is subcontracted to a third party, with issuance of a SWO (Service Work Order)
14) Off-wing minor reworks with issuance of CoC, only with issuance of a TA and, if part of the execution is subcontracted to a third party, with issuance of a SWO
15) Software downloads, with issuance of a written authorization by the concerned OE
16) Unit/ Subsystem rigging
17) Assistance to partners’ FAL team for the above, subject to a Partner TA being issued and to an agreement with the OE.
18) Provide regularly the OE with FAL support inventory sizing inputs
19) Manage Level 1 spares stock required for immediate replacement at or close to the Customers site (on OE request based on contractual obligations)
20) Manage availability of required tooling/GSE
21) Execute inventory checks/ validation upon request of the OE
22) Execute handling tasks (out of/ into stock) upon request of the OE
23) Inspect products manufactured by suppliers in their domestic facilities
Requirements
1) Major in Aeronautic engineering, Mechanical engineering, or similar
2) Experience in A/C or component maintenance experience, with minimum 3 years
3) Knowledge of the different fields involved in maintenance: mechanics; electrical and configuration management
4) Fluent English is a must;
5) Cross culture knowledge is a plus
