1.Main Objectives -The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading the program in all aspects, from program award (or 'Request For Quotation' in some cases) until 6 months after Start of Production. -The PM is the guarantor of customer satisfaction in conjunction with the achievement of program quality, cost and delivery objectives, while ensuring profitability throughout the entire program lifecycle. -The primary goal of the position is to guarantee Lone Star Revenue and Profit, be passionate, accountable and take ownership for all aspects of the program with the cross-function team. 2.Area of Responsibility -To build the initial Cash Flow and submit it to KAMs & Management if relevant. Make sure the key KPI of EBIT and payback to achieve company’s goal. -To manage and co-ordinate a cross-functional program team (Sales, Controlling, Purchasing, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Product & Process engineering), and define team members' objectives and assignments. -To define the project investment scheme and release investments in compliance with controlling procedures; take economical responsibility for all deviations from initial requirements. -Defines project approach way, resource allocation, financial planning, timing schedule -Launch and monitor the Program: track progress by updating project plan and budget and by leading reviews of program steps and results. -Pilot EC and evaluates impact to project timeline/budgets/investment if project change happen, manages change process implementation. -Pilot VAVE internally and externally to achieve the requirement of cost saving. -Create a "Program Management culture" by ensuring processes defined in the Suprajit Program Management System are applied at all steps, and by developing synergies between all actors involved in the program. -Organise communications throughout the program lifecycle. -Responsible for tracking and summarizing to project deliverables completion acc. Suprajit Program Management System. -Ensure smooth program transfer from Development to Production Plant. Project deliverables checking and project performance assessment, lesson learning to entire project, project deliverables handover, document for project closure. -Get involved in all kinds of HSE activities, attend fire emergency evacuation, Attend Safety\Health\Environment Training. 3.Personal Tasks -The project manager is responsible to balance the competing demands of scope, time, and cost. To guarantee the project launch smoothly. -Manage and co-ordinate a cross-functional program team, guarantee company KPI of EBIT & payback. 4.Competence profile (ideal) -Education: -Bachelor’s degree preferred. Engineering, Technology, Business Administration backgrounds are applicable. -Experience & Skills -Fluent in Chinese and English both written and verbal. -3 Years minimum Program Management Experience in Automotive Industry. -Good knowledge of APQP procedure, Program standards, tools and gauge. PMP Certification or proven equivalent qualification/experience preferred. -Ability to manage and influence a cross functional team with indirect authority. -Results-oriented professional who has demonstrated success in building a business where product development, marketing and financing provide unique growth opportunities in a Global marketplace. -Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written, presentation). -General technical affinity and good knowledge of R&D processes and ability to understand a broad range of technical products and diverse businesses. -Good knowledge in MS-Office software and project management software e.g. MS Project. -Knowledge of ISO14001\ISO45001\IATF16949. -Characteristics: -Leadership Capabilities. Ability to establish, develop, lead and unite a team. -Able to travel extensively and be effective in a variety of business cultures. -Results oriented for both short and long-term objectives. -Calculated risk taker, with high degree of passion and accountability. 5.Authority -The Project Manager is responsible for independently making decisions regarding the strategic direction and activities required for the account within the compass of the current guidelines of the company. Final approval for these needs to be obtained from the Senior Management team.
