Job Scope: 1. SI Capacitor R&D engineer with focus in Development and Introduction of New Products 2. Preferred area of expertise, Chemical engineer, or Materials Engineer Job Requirements for an R&D Engineer function in a KEMET Aluminum Electrolytic Unit at Anting area.
(List of expected job characteristics): 1. Masters (preferred) degree in engineering discipline as per Job scope. 2.Motivation for Project Management and Product Development and Introduction with understanding of the product lifecycle and Bill Of Materials structure. 3. Product design basic principles understanding and experience with Design Control principles. 4. DOE (Design of Experience), statistical methods and Hypothesis tests for practical Engineering validation and optimization. 5.Aptitude for hands-on engineering testing and experimentation in a lab/shop environment. 6. Able to identify, break down and solve a variety of difficult technical problems. Solution exploring motivation. 7.Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills ? English advanced skills as a Mandatory to have characteristic. 8. Ability to work independently with a strategic input routine. 9. Ability to autonomous present and document engineering solutions. 10. Disciplined and well-organized in documentation (plans, requirements, drawings, design reviews, and test methods). 11. Interest to drive fundamental studies targeting to advance existing products technology and prepare technical report contributions for technology advances. 12. Measurement and Variation acceptance depending on product and process characteristic . 13. Testing and reliability. 14. Understanding on Phase-Gate principles for development process cycles.

Knowledge on DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) and/or Lean Six Sigma principles. 2.Practical and theoretical knowledge of modeling and simulation of parts and processes. 3. Autonomy with chemical mixing and electrochemical principles and characterization. 4. IT System setup and ability according Product Design rules. 5.Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors background with similar function like R&D, Product or Process Engineering.
