Your role :
Are you a gifted equity analyst adept at assessing value and risk? Can you link events and trends in China and globally to your analysis? Do you love to communicate, as well as educate? We’re looking for someone like that to cover China A-shares who can:

? convert multi-industry knowledge into understandable equities research reports, investment opinions and sector views
? conduct valuation analysis and form an opinion of return potential for the aggregated A share indices
? remain current on market developments in China as well as geopolitical events outside China to help frame our regional investment strategy and also inform readers what their impact is at short notice if need be
? develop A-share market strategy reports, potentially in collaboration with other asset specialists
? provide investment recommendations using support on modeling, valuation and risk assessments
Your team :
You will be located in China, reporting into the CIO Greater Chinese Equity Head. The CIO Equity team analyzes Greater China and Asia Pacific financial markets and asset classes, and is responsible for identifying key investment trends, opportunities and risks for GWM clients in the equity space. More broadly, Chief Investment Office (CIO) team is a dedicated team catered to wealth management clients – dealing with asset allocation strategies, asset class research, and financial outlooks. We are present around the world with over 200 people helping to shape the house view on investments.
Your expertise :
? 4-6 years of experience in a comparable role or as an analyst
? the confidence and verbal skills to discuss complex compliance issues with research analysts and management to ensure clear understanding.
? a good handle on accounting, including reviewing and interpreting annual reports and financial statements
? proficient in verbal and written English and Mandarin
? solid know-how of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
? strong analytical and problem solving skills
? inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
? strong team player with affinity to work across locations and teams
? SAC analyst license
