Job Capsule To plan and conduct audits for all ABS QE audit programs. Job Duties/Roles 1. Review management system manuals and associated documentation for compliance with requirements and applicable codes and/or standards. 2. Plan, schedule and conduct initial, surveillance and re-certification audits. 3. Prepare and maintain audit logs and all other required documentation. 4. Prepare and issue reports and recommendations for certification. 5. Lead introductory and closing meetings at clients facilities. 6. Administer ABS QE publications as required. 7. Assist the Program Director in the development and implementation of program procedures 8. Provide coaching to Auditors in the performance their duties. 9. Set high standards to achieve results. 10. Maintain audit independence without involvement in business development activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR) 1. Familiarity with appropriate system standards. Competent in the areas to be assessed. 2. Excellent decision making and organization skills. 3. Ability to obtain working knowledge of the ABS Quality Evaluations Quality & Environmental Management System. Minimum years of Experience Minimum five (5) years of experience preferred in industry. Required/Preferred Education Requirements Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university, preferably in an engineering/technical discipline, or equivalent quality experience. Required/Preferred Professional Requirements 1. Previous experience with Quality Control/Quality Assurance/Environmental/Safety & Health related activities including auditing experience. 2. CCAA ISO9001, 14001, 45001 are must; 13485 Auditor Qualification is preferred.
