The Purchasing Officer shall have the following qualifications: ●Related education or equivalent training and experience; ● Excellent knowledge of the English language; ● Knowledge of computer programs; ● Willingness to learn and adopt new systems and ideas; ●Good communication skills as well as the ability to work within a team.
The Purchasing Officers in the Technical Department are responsible for: ● Providing purchasing services in compliance with the purchasing procedures; ● Informing Technical Superintendents immediately of any problems related to purchasing matters; ● Maintaining the computerised purchasing program; ● Executing any other tasks as assigned by the superior; ●Being adequately conversant with the Company’s Management System; ● Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System; ●Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures; ● Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement.
