Role Profile –

1. Have the necessary basic knowledge/skills of shaft equipment maintenance
2. Independently perform in-situ shaft machining jobs as client requirement
3. To strengthen and promote service team communication & reporting capacity
4. Ensure proper control upkeep, maintenance & utilization of tools & equipments.
5. Ensure proper work take over from Sales & liaise with Sales on work scope
6. Liaise with Customer on work scope to be carried out accordingly
7. Ensure Proper control of work quality /execution & safety
8. Analysis the defect's root cause
9. Provide the effective PM proposal and technical requirement

Requirements of the Position.

1. College degree or above with major in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
2. At least 4 years’ practical experience in ship repair on in-situ shaft machining work
3. Understanding of technical drawings and engineering designs/Sketches
4. Will be required to write reports and communicate in English language.
5. Willing to travel frequently around China and abroad
6. Good coordination, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
7. Will have a technical qualification in mechanical engineering or similar.
8. Will approach business in a structured and well organised manner and have good organisational capabilities.
9. Is able and capable of leading a team and promoting team building and cooperation within the department.
10. Will be a good communicator and understand the reporting requirements of the company.
11. Have a good command of English Language both written and spoken
12. Has an outgoing and proactive nature
13. Will have an open and honest approach to business
14. Should possess a valid passport and be willing to travel overseas, mainly for training, and around China for customer and shipyard work.
