Key Responsibilities:
1、Talent Attraction and Employer Branding 1)Assist on the development and implementation of the regional talent acquisition and employer branding strategy 2)Ensure execution of a professional, brand enhancing candidate experience through all recruitment and selection cycle touch-points 3)Act as a brand ambassador for the airline, developing and promoting the regional employee value proposition that inspire candidates to apply for positions and accept offered opportunities 4)Proactively build relationships with relevant stakeholders that strengthen Cathay’s employer branding in the region to attract the best talent 5)Devise and execute the plan to actively manage talent pools that create a talent pipeline of candidates for role (for example, alumni, university or school engagements, and internships) 6)Assist Manager in development and implementation of policies, procedures and processes related to sourcing, recruiting, promotion, transfer, on-boarding and off-boarding 7)Work closely with Manager to leverage recruitment channels and improve sourcing effectiveness
2、Recruitment and Selection Process Excellence 1)Manage and deliver end-to-end recruitment processes from discussing requirements with hiring managers and developing commercially focused, brand enhancing assessment and selection processes, job advertisement creation, sourcing, screening, selecting, offer and on-boarding 2)Be the expert in a wide variety of recruitment approaches and processes including the adoption of new tools and technology aligned with the global talent acquisition strategy to ensure a high quality candidate and hiring manager experience 3)Effectively priorities different roles and ensure that time to fill is measured and optimized 4)Review job descriptions within corporate guidelines and ensure that the job advertisement is posted in an effective, clear and appealing manner which meet all local regulations 5)Provide expertise in interpreting test results, shortlists, interviews and measured assessment centre performance 6)Conduct full reference and background checks to ensure the quality of hires and risk minimisation 7)Lead the offer process, including salary negotiation 8)Manage internal promotion and progression programmes and activities as required 9)Be the expert in local legislation regarding recruitment and selection processes including discrimination and data privacy regulations
3、On-boarding and Off-boarding 1)To ensure that the on-boarding process is engaging and is delivered with a local context that brings the Cathay brand to life 2)Ensure all regulatory training is completed and monitor Brushwingers’ completion for eLearning and other safety or induction related training 3)Manage and ensure the off-boarding process is smooth and leaves a positive lasting impression on the exiting employee 4)Partner with BP team to conduct exit interviews and document reasons for leaving and other contributing factors and implement tactics to reduce regretted losses
4、Others 1)Participate in HR / talent acquisition projects as required 2)Any other reasonable tasks as required
5、E&A Emergency & Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required
Qualifications / Experience:
1、Academic qualifications Bachelor degree in Human Resources or other related majors.
2、Knowledge, skills, training and experience 1)5 to 7 years' relevant experience in HR, with at least 4 years in recruitment, solid experience in recruitment agent is preferred 2)Experience leading high volume recruitment activity 3)Experience running competency-based and technical interviews and using other assessment and selection tools 4)Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both English and Mandarin 5)Strong influencing skills and stakeholder engagement and management ability 6)Strong planning skills with high attention to detail 7)High energy and motivational style 8)Strong cultural sensitivity and respect 9)Efficient and able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines 10)Travelling within the region is required
