Department: Sales Reports To: Regional Sales Manager or Sales Director INTRODUCTION OF SCENTAIR We are the largest scent service provider in the world with business covering over 109 countries. We are now expanding our sales team in China with positions available to cover various regions such as Western China (based in Chengdu or Chongqing), Northern China (Beijing), and Eastern China (Shanghai). SUMMARY The Sales Manager is an outside sales position whose job is to prospect through cold calling and site visits and follow-up on company generated leads in order to promote ScentAir’s products and services. Frequent travel is required for this position. Our primary business focus would be in hospitality and retail segments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DESCRIPTION · Responsible for identifying new opportunities for ScentAir by cold calling and/or by visiting existing and new customers, typically in segments such as hotels, property management offices and shopping malls. · Call and visit prospective customers in person and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationship. · Prepare sales information and sales contracts for prospective customers and present information in face-to-face meetings at the customer’s place of business. · Establish buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria for accounts in assigned territory. · Secure customer orders taking into consideration delivery dates for fulfillment. Maintain Database including sales pipeline account details, contact information, and selling activities. · Prepare selling forecasts and update as needed. · Manage assigned accounts when expressly authorized. · Meet sales quotas and continually grow sales in assigned territory. · Work location: Shanghai office QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE · University graduate (business, science or engineering) · Strong cold calling experience/Hunter mentality · Strong sales skill set · Ability to ask for the business/get signed contracts from customers · Works well under deadlines and quotas · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques · Strong analysis and judgment skills · Works well with minimum supervision · Strong network in hotels, retail shops/shopping centers, fitness centers, spas and salons or property management · Welcome candidates with strong regional focus in Western China, Eastern China or Northern China
