DNV Digital Solutions business area is seeking a sales professional to join our Renewables and Ocean Structures sales team as Area Sales Manager. Your role will be to combine new sales and account management, supporting the challenging and competitive demand of our future strategies within offshore/ onshore wind, solar and ocean structures sectors within the mainland China, Hong Kong and *** market.

As a Area Sales Manager, you will contribute to the goals for market penetration, order intake, revenues and profitability throughout the Greater China area. Your daily tasks will include:
1. Promoting and selling the company’s software and services, mainly Sesam,Nauticus.
2. Understanding market demands, the needs of our customers, and how our software and services map to them.
3. Proactively developing strong relationships with new clients within the Renewables and Ocean Structures market within the APAC region.
4. Generating high quality leads, developing a robust sales funnel, converting leads into opportunities and bring them to contract.
5. Developing account plans and strategies to best position DNV and facilitate an internal communication platform.
6. Collaborating internally to develop and present value add offers to prospective and existing clients.
7. Undertaking account management activities of existing clients as assigned, as well as managing leads and following up on them in a timely and structured manner.
8. Managing and maintaining high quality data within the CRM system (Salesforce) on an ongoing basis.
9. Regular domestic and international travel (once COVID restrictions permit).
Position Qualifications
To qualify, we need you to have:
1. Strong desire to win.
2. Proactive attitude.
3. Demonstrable business development and sales experience, preferably with a technology/ software background.
4. Strong negotiation skills.
5. Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
6. Strong presentation and communication skills.
Although not required, below elements will be considered a plus:
7. Experience and general understanding of renewables (offshore/ onshore/ solar), ocean engineering and oil & gas sectors.
8. Relevant degree in Business/Mechanical/ Offshore/ Renewable/ Marine engineering or equivalent qualification.
9. Previous experience with software licensing & software-as-a-service sales.
