Job Overview: Accountable for project management and drive the project team of MF’s assigned industry/segment(s) to achieve the targets set by the management for respective projects.
Responsibilities: 1. Propose show concept, strategic planning and hall layouts of the respective fairs to the manager to ensure it achieves the overall targets set by the management, plus reporting to manager on the fair status periodically, analyze potential risks and opportunities as well as propose corresponding strategies. 2. Plan and control the budget within various tasks such as exhibitor and visitor promotion to maximize company profitability; as well as planning and management of show development and promotional plan, monitor the overall work process in operation and promotion schedule to ensure the set deadline and goals are met and quality control throughout the fair cycle is maintained. 3. Establish and maintain good relationships with sales agents, trade associations, partners and key clients to ensure smooth delivery and execution of sales and marketing activities. 4. Design and evaluate manpower plan, and supervise all team members by giving clear instruction & method, evaluate the results of tasks and review overall performance to ensure the quality of their daily work. 5. Establish exhibitor and visitor recruitment strategies; develop fringe programs and publicity plan with related partners and departments, plus monitoring the implementation of on-site fringe programmes to facilitate exhibitor and visitor recruitment. 6. Communicate with internal departments for effective delivery of all fairs-related works which enhance successful completion of the fairs, such as advertising activities, payment chasers, etc. 7. Oversee fair operations and sales control plus all on-site management from construction, exhibitor and visitor servicing, to manpower recruitment and deployment etc, to ensure smooth delivery of the fairs.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor degree or above. 2. 10 years solid experience in exhibition or event management industry with at least 3 years in managerial capacity. 3. Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, negotiation skills, and analytical skills. 4. Aggressive, positive thinking, result-oriented, able to work under pressure and a good team player. 5. Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin); additional language will be an asset. 6. Willing to travel overseas.
