Job Description & Requirements The Purchasing Officer shall have the following qualifications: ? Related education or equivalent training and experience; ? excellent knowledge of the English language; ? Knowledge of computer programs; ? Willingness to learn and adopt new systems and ideas; ? Good communication skills as well as the ability to work within a team. The Purchasing Officers in the Technical Department are responsible for: ? Providing purchasing services in compliance with the purchasing procedures; ? Informing Technical Superintendents immediately of any problems related to purchasing matters; ? Maintaining the computerised purchasing program; ? Executing any other tasks as assigned by the superior; ? Being adequately conversant with the Company’s Management System; ? Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System; ? Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures; ? Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement.
